One million players can’t be wrong. Low-Budget Repairs surpasses one million Steam wishlists as the demo arrives in just two days
A massive community of players is already waiting for Low-Budget Repairs. Developed by Simplicity Games and published by PlayWay, the game has officially surpassed one million Steam wishlists, proving just how much anticipation it has generated ahead of launch. But that’s not all – the developers have also confirmed that a playable demo will be available on Steam starting July 24.
In Low-Budget Repairs, doing the job right is optional – making a profit isn’t. Step into the shoes of a rookie contractor running a small renovation business in a 1990s Polish post-communist neighbourhood, where every byway is another opportunity to save money. Water down your paint, buy the cheapest tools you can find, and lay tiles without bothering to level them. Every sleazy “life hack” is allowed. If the customer doesn’t notice, it’s a job well done.
Players won’t have to wait much longer to experience it for themselves. The Steam demo launches on July 24, giving everyone the chance to play through the opening section of the game, take on their first renovation jobs, meet a cast of memorable local customers, and test the tools and materials which help get the job done – regardless the quality.
